Schools: Four Cornwall Musicians Join All-County Jazz Band

Four Cornwall students are going to be swinging this spring as members of the 2007 Junior High All-County Jazz Band. Students from across Orange County audition for the jazz band and only a select few make the grade.
Jack Storer, an eighth-grader who is an accomplished trumpet and piano player, will be sitting in the coveted first trumpet chair in the band for the second year in a row. He will be joined in the band with fellow Cornwall students Grant Lubeck on trumpet, Max Finkelstein on alto saxophone, and Lindsay Roblesi on bass.
Music teacher Steve Kessler, who leads the jazz band at the middle school, takes great pride in the accomplishments of these students. “I can’t wait to hear this fabulous group,” he say, adding, “I hope our students have a great time working with all of these talented musicians from Orange County.
