General News: Student Dies in Motorcycle Accident
A Cornwall High School senior was killed in a motorcycle accident on Monday night.
Cornwall police chief Todd Hazard confirmed that Kyle Lau, 18-years-old from New Windsor, died in the accident that occurred in the City of Newburgh around 10:30 p.m. on Monday.
Lau was driving a motorcycle on West Street in Newburgh when he apparently struck a trailer left on the side of the road. Then, according to police lieutenant Patrick Arnold, he may have been struck by an oncoming vehicle. Lieutenant Arnold says that investigators are looking for any information about a white van that was seen in the area around the time of the accident. Any member of the public with information may call Lt. Arnold at 569-7508.
Comments:

Kyle's family is in my prayers, my two older boys attended the HS and are deeply saddened. Does anyone know if a service is planned?
