The Town of New Windsor Police is pleased to announce the donation of a new ballistic vest for the newest New Windsor Police Dog, K-9 Sato. The vest was donated by Victoria Benton. Mrs. Benton wanted to ensure K-9 Sato would be just as protected as a police officers who wear a similar ballistic vest. K-9 Sato is the newest police dog for the New Windsor Police, and is handled By PO Brian McLean. PO McLean and K-9 Sato graduated from the Orange County Sheriff's K-9 Academy in July 2014. K-9 Sato was purchased entirely with funds donated from Zafar Produce, Windsor Dental, and Pizza Heaven.
