Cornwall, N.Y. ----The Cornwall Garden Club invites the community to join club members for a trip to the N.Y. Botanical Garden on Thurs., Oct. 16. Those attending will meet at the Cornwall Plaza at 9 a.m. and board a coach bus to New York City. The cost for the trip is $45, which includes transportation, admission and guided tour of the garden. The bus will arrive back in Cornwall at approximately 5 p.m.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to see the N.Y. Botanical Garden at the height of it fall splendor,” said Cornwall Garden Club member Bette Farrow. “The chrysanthemums will be spectacular.” Those interested in attending should contact Bette by Oct. 10 at 496-6563 or via email at [email protected].
The Cornwall Garden Club is dedicated to a love and interest in gardening and in encouraging learning in horticulture and flower design. Members aid in the conservation of local flora and in beautifying public areas.
