Arrests
05/05/14 A 38 yr old male from Highland Mills, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
05/06/14 Kurt E Maxwell, age 35, of New Windsor, NY was arrested on a bench warrant.
05/07/14 A 31 yr old male from Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
05/07/14 Thomas I Hulihan, age 22, of Cornwall, NY was arrested and charged with fleeing an officer, reckless driving and speeding.
05/08/14 Samuel Giron, age 23, of New Windsor, NY was arrested for criminal mischief in the 2nd degree.
05/11/14 A 41 yr old female from East Setauket, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unreasonable speed.
Incidents
05/05/14 Police take a report of larceny from a vehicle on Otterkill Rd. A wallet, phone and medication in total value over $1,000 were stolen while the caller was hiking.
05/06/14 Police respond to the Cornwall Library for a report of graffiti to the building.
05/07/14 Subjects jumped fence to gain access to tennis courts and were advised to move along. Tennis courts under repair.
05/08/14 Police assist the fire dept with a small fire on the exterior of a house on Patton Drive.
05/08/14 An intoxicated driver struck a pole in the Cumberland Farms lot. The incident was reported to Police who located the driver and issued a summons.
05/11/14 A possible propane leak was reported on Mazies Lane, VGFD and Central Hudson responded.
