Riding Lessons at Ivy Rock Farms |

from Ivy Rock Farms
Attention Parents: Do you find yourself needing more time around the holidays to shop, cook, clean, bake, or just rest? Ivy Rock Farms, off Route 94, has the solution.
During the month of December, this local equestrian center and riding facility is offering a Drop and Shop Horse Program for kids ages 5 and up. This program provides you the opportunity to have time to yourself, while your child enjoys an afternoon of riding, horse science, horse care and fun. No experience is necessary making it nice for children who do not ride regularly, but might be curious to learn about horses.
“This is such a great program,” said Denise Clarke of New Windsor. “It is nice to know my child is our in the fresh air and learning a great sport instead of planted in front of a video game or a television with a babysitter while I am out shopping. My son comes home excited and exhausted.”
Ivy Rock Farms has been providing lessons, training and horse camp for almost 20 years right here in Cornwall. These programs are educational, fun and affordable. Most people do not think about riding camp in the cold weather. However, Ivy Rock has a spacious heated indoor arena which gives riders who are involved in other sports in the warmer months an opportunity to still experience riding and horses.
You can also purchase Gift Certificates for future camps or lessons. What a great gift for the holidays for the animal lover in your life.
