From The Orange County Arts Council
Movement in Nature
Two more days to apply!
The Arts Council is once again partnering with Storm King Tavern, the restaurant located in the Storm King Golf Club in Hudson Highlands, to bring another show of Orange County art to the tavern's walls.
This show, opening on Tuesday, October 18th, calls for work that coincides with the theme of "Movement in Nature". Works will be juried by visual artist Lotus Do after the submission deadline of this Friday, September 30th. Submission of two works is free for OCAC members and only $15.00 for non-members.
Please use our online application to submit your works for review.
Small Works
We are excited to announce that 100% of the proceeds from this year’s Small Works Exhibition will go towards the Community Art Fund! This fund will be used to provide grants to ten community arts projects during the year of 2017.
The Small Works show is an exciting exhibit of limited sized works, allowing guests to take home an inexpensive original piece of art. We invite you to support the art grants by donating work to this benefit exhibition and sale. Find full details here.
Once again the Small Works Benefit Exhibition & Sale will be taking place at the Annual Orange County Art Awards, which will be held on Friday, November 4th, at Motorcyclepedia Museum in Newburgh, NY.
