Arrests
07/10/13 A 31 yr old male from New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with
aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Incidents
07/08/13 A small truck struck a tree on Grandview Ave., minimal damage reported.
07/08/13 Police issue tickets and warnings during a traffic assignment
07/09/13 A resident who disposed of a refrigerator outside of their property was advised to remove the doors for safety concerns.
07/10/13 Police take a report of criminal mischief. A car window was damaged on Paula Court
07/12/13 Police take a report of a minor vehicle accident car vs. deer on Avenue A.
07/12/13 Several owners of vehicles parked at the riverfront without parking permits were advised.
07/14/13 Police respond to Hirle St. for a report of a raccoon stuck in a lobster trap. The owners had a lobster trap on their back deck using it as a table. The raccoon climbed in and got stuck. The officer and homeowner carried the trap into the woods, opened the trap, cut the netting away and freed the raccoon.
07/14/13 Police receive a report of a fraudulent phone call received by a resident on Duncan Ave.
07/14/13 A teenager was bit by a dog on Academy Ave. and transported to the hospital for treatment.
