Arrests
07/08/13 Douglas E Casscles, age 27, of Cornwall, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
07/10/13 Donald W Habersaat, age 27, of Walden, NY was arrested and charged with
aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Incidents
07/09/13 Police take a report of illegal dumping at 2 Mill St.
07/10/13 Police take a report of fraud. A person was applying for a job and sent a large check to cash and was told by the “employer” to send the cash back to China.
07/11/13 11:28 pm A woman on Canterbury Ave. awoke to find two strange men in her house who then took off on foot. The subjects entered the house through an unsecured ground level window and burglarized the residence.
07/12/13 A Pitbull/Boxer mix dog was found and brought to Blooming Grove Animal Shelter.
07/12/13 A resident called to report an unknown male that was found on a property on Willow Ave. looking in the windows and looking into the caller’s vehicle. The man was asked to leave the property and complied.
Police take a report of a dog bit by a pit bull mix dog on Angola Rd.
Woodbury Police advised they were notified of two dogs running loose on Rt. 32. 9:46 pm A small yellow lab mix with a red, white and blue collar was found deceased and a small white poodle was found alive and brought to Blooming Grove Animal Shelter.
07/12/13 A resident on Marshall Dr. found thumb tacks in her husband’s parking space outside their home and wanted the incident documented due to ongoing neighbor disputes.
07/13/13 A deer with a broken leg found on Museum Rd. was dispatched.
07/14/13 Police respond to DeCicco’s for a report of criminal mischief. A box a bread delivered was stomped on and a number of newspapers were thrown all over the carts making quite a few unsellable.
1:45 pm A caller reported to Police that he received a call stating that his parents were involved in a car accident and that they needed the complainant to send money. See Police Warn Public of Fraudulent Calls
