To the Editor,
Cornwall residents came out in lousy weather Wednesday night to get the chance to address the Town Board on the proposed changes to the Cornwall Commons. I want to thank each and every one of "you guys". Thanks also to the Cornwall Central School District for opening the Middle School for this venue.
It's unfortunate Supervisor Quigley believed having the developer, his assistant and counsel sit at the "head table" was appropriate. It wasn't. And, based on advice from town counsel, it was also unfortunate that town board members could not voice our opinion at that time.
As the process continues, it is my hope we can work towards the best possible solution for the use and development of the land. As always, with this or any other issue, feel free to contact me.
