General News: Library Budget Passes, New Trustee Elected

Voters approved the 2013/2014 Library Operating Budget of $1,112,061.73 for the Cornwall Public Library on Tuesday by a tally of 385 to 79. A total of 464 people voted in the election, a decrease from last year's total of 508 votes.
Suzanne Vizethann ran unopposed for the seat on the library board vacated by Maureen Terwilliger and received 391 votes. Vizethann has been elected as a trustee for a 5-year term beginning 7/1/13.
