The Encore Inc., Consign For A Cause Store; to benefit The Greater Hudson Valley Family Health Center, is nearing 1000 local consigners and you just never know where our treasures will turn up. Recently one of our treasures attended the Oscars

My sister lives in LA and goes to the Oscars every year. This year she invited me along. I was originally going to borrow a dress from a friend but it was too short. I did not have much time or a desire to spend a lot of money on a gown I would wear once. I figured it couldn't hurt to check The Encore Consignment Shop since it is right in town and even if I didn't find what I needed I wouldn't have lost much time looking. I was surprised to find at least 25 gowns to try on, at least 5 of which were distinct possibilities. The dress I chose was of course the last one I tried on. It still had the tags on it and fit perfectly with no need for alterations. The women who were working that day were extremely helpful and it was a great experience. Oscar winning customer service! Paying forward to a mission to support our communities good health.
