Linda Harvey knows a little something about creating beautiful gingerbread houses. She should. After all, she’s been making them since 1977.
Harvey, whose husband had restaurants in New York City, originally created her gingerbread houses to be featured in his establishments. She enjoyed the process so much that she kept making them.
So, when it came time for her to start a new project, she decided to use her talent to contribute to the community, donating a thatched-roof gingerbread house to the Cornwall Library to be raffled off before the holidays.
The gingerbread house displays the attention to detail and festive spirit that make’s Linda’s work stand out. Her decades of experience certainly show off. Anyone with an interest in unique holiday decorations would be thrilled to own a piece of her work.
And anyone interested in owning one may get their chance on Friday, December 21 at 3:00, when the winning ticket will be drawn by the Friends of the Cornwall Public Library.
