The tragedy yesterday at Sandy Hook Elementary School was unfathomable . I know we are all impacted by what happened and horrified by what we saw on TV.
I also know there isn't much we can do from our homes for these families but to say a prayer, be thankful for our families and hug our children, but an idea came upon me while watching frame after frame of frightened children and grief struck parents.
I decided to go outside and tie a white ribbon around my biggest tree in respect for the 20 children that had their young and precious lives taken from them . I was hoping that some of you would do the same. It's something small, but it will show the world we care.
