General News: Motorcycle Accident in Cornwall

There was a motorcycle crash on State Route 32 (south of the Angola Road intersection and just south of the old Star Expansion plant entrance, on the curve) in Cornwall this evening, involving a local resident. The victim was flown to Westchester.
The victim was operating a Harley Davidson and may have been riding with a group of other bikers who departed the scene prior to emergency service personnel arriving.
The accident knocked out electrical power to an area of Cornwall and Woodbury in the area immediately surrounding the accident scene, and forced the closure of Route 32.
Route 32 will likely be closed for several hours in that Central Hudson will have to replace two electric poles to restore power to affected customers.
