Arrests
10/27/12 12:10 pm Jeffrey A Annan, age 44, of New Windsor, NY was arrested for reckless endangerment 2nd degree, criminal mischief 2nd degree, trespass 3rd degree, leaving the scene of property damage motor vehicle accident. He was remanded to jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.
Incidents
10/22/12 2:08 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on southbound 9w near Resevoir Rd. for a vehicle that hit a block of wood in the roadway.
10/23/12 8:56 am Dog control called for a dog running loose in the village.
10/24/12 5:46 pm Dog Control officer A Conley notified that loose dog is now confined in caller’s garage. Blooming Grove Animal Shelter retrieved dog from caller’s home.
10/25/12 5:26 pm Police respond to a bear complaint from Lapani Ave. The bear entered the woods and proceeded East up the mountain.
10/26/12 9:58 pm Police receive a call stating that a bear was on a porch at a residence on Duncan Ave. going through the garbage. Officer shooed the bear back into the woods.
10/27/12 1:00 am Police take a report of burglary from a resident on Avenue A.
9:24 pm Police respond to a chimney fire on Duncan Ave.
