Cornwall Presbyterian Church will be having its annual Operation Holiday Cookie Deployment on Saturday, November 10. We will be sending "Hugs in a Box from Home" to our service men and women serving our country here and abroad. We hope the community will help and participate in supporting these brave people.
We are collecting non-perishable, heat-resistant items, toiletries (travel size), and homemade treats. We especially need complete and accurate APO addresses of service people who would appreciate a "Hug".
Anyone interested in participating can bring donations to the Cornwall Presbyterian Church; call the church office (534-2903) with current, accurate APO addresses; or join us at the church (222 Hudson St., Cornwall on Hudson) on November 10 from from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon to help pack the boxes.
To drop off donations, the church is open Tuesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Deadline for the donations and names is by 10 a.m. on November 10.
We thank the community for their help and support in showing our appreciation to our military and their families for their sacrifices.
