Arrests
9/18/12
12:10 a.m. Juan J Dejesus, age 25 and Daniel A Deleon, age 22, both of Newburgh, NY were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana.
9/19/12
10 :15 a.m. Johnny R. Myles, age 46, of Newburgh, NY was arrested on a warrant from Newburgh, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and for speeding.
11:04 a.m. A 17 yr. old male from Cornwall, NY was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon, possessing brass knuckles.
9/20/12
3:47 p.m. Juliet A. Stafford, age 31, of New Windsor, NY was arrested on a bench warrant for a probation violation and turned over to the Orange County Sheriff’s.
9/21/12
3:51 p.m. A 33 yr old male of New Windsor, NY was arrested for having a suspended registration.
9/22/12
2:15 a.m. A 40 yr old male from Cornwall NY was arrested and charged with obstruction of breathing and unlawful imprisonment for choking his spouse and preventing her from leaving the residence.

11:50 p.m. Police respond to report of deer struck by a vehicle on rt 9w.
8:33 p.m. Police find a bicycle on Willow Ave. in rear parking lot and secure at Police storage.
9/18/12
9:27 a.m. Police take report of sexually explicit photos sent to an 11 yr olds cell phone, location in New Windsor.
12:07 p.m. Police respond to a report of a suicidal man in the vicinity of rt. 218, subject was located and transported to Orange Regional Medical.

10:20 a.m. Police respond to loose dog, a black and tan husky on Highland Ave. Dog is transported to Blooming Grove Animal Shelter.
9/20/12
5:01 p.m. Police respond to route 9w for a 2 car mva with injuries, Fire Dept. and COVAC dispatched.
9/22/12
4:00 p.m. Police respond to a report of a black bear on Otterkill Rd. Bear gone on arrival.
7:25 p.m. Cornwall FD dispatched for an air conditioner on fire on Smokey Lane.
9/23/12
6:30 a.m. Police respond to Lyndon Lane for a report of a black bear. Several garbage cans were knocked over, unable to locate animal.
12:04 p.m Police respond to John Street for a report of a snake near a basement entrance, snake moved along without incident.
