Arrests
9/7/12
3:15 p.m. Rafael A Torres II, age 24 of Washingtonville, N.Y. was arrested for DWI and improper lane use.
10:41 p.m. Police respond to Willow Ave. School for a fight in progress. An 18 year old Cornwall woman advised she was attacked by her ex-boyfriend and three females. All four subjects were charged with assault in the third degee and the 18 year old Cornwall male was charged with resisting arrest.

12:36 a.m. A woman from New Windsor was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the third degree.

4:44 p.m. Police respond to Robert Rd. fora report of man shooting a BB gun near a car and where children are playing. Subject advised that he was trying to shoot down a bees nest from a bush, subject was advised not to shoot BB gun anymore.
6:11p.m. Police respond to post office to a report of a suspicious package in front of the post office. Package is investigated and found to a legitimate package.

1:14 p.m. Police assist postal worker unable to exit a resident’s driveway due to electric gate closing.
2:57 p.m. Police assist COVAC with 2 car accident on Rt. 218.

11:43 a.m. Police respond to Postal carrier report of rabid squirrel on Main St. going after people. Dog Control is contacted.
7:45 Police take report of motor vehicle accident on Quaker Ave. and 9W ramp southbound. Driver reported that vehicle hit her then left the scene.

11:36 p.m. Police assist Blooming Grove PD with possible suicidal male.

1:27 p.m. Police take report of a possible larceny from J.R. close outs at 2 Mill St.

5:38 p.m. Police respond to Mill St. for report of tree down in roadway and remove tree.

10:50 a.m. Police respond to report of a bear in the field across from Palomino Place where there is a yard sale going on.
2:00 p.m. Police respond to Old Mineral Springs Rd. for a report of larceny from a vehicle, front passenger window was broken and purse removed.
