Monday, August 27, 2012
12:54 a.m. A man, age 18, was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana.
12:47 p.m. James T. Howard, age 56, of Walden, N.Y. was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the 3rd degree, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.
6:34 p.m. Andrew S. Hostovich, age 22, of Cornwall, N.Y. was arrested at Dunkin Donuts in Cornwall for criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, criminally using drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest; a class A misdemeanor and disorderly conduct; a violation.

5:10 p.m. Domenick J. Decelestino, age 27, of Nyack, N.Y. was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the 3rd degree.

9:10 a.m. Lamar T. Henry, age 24, of Newburgh, N.Y. was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the 3rd degree, unsafe passing and no/expired insurance.

4:05 p.m. Joseph M. Uricks, age 23, of Middletown, N.Y. was charged with disorderly conduct.
7:50 p.m. Michael M. Melucci, age 60, of Cornwall, N.Y. was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor and remanded to Orange County Jail with bail set at $2,500.

Jessica Mona Cadet, age 24, of New Windsor, N.Y. was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.

10:18 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Quaker Ave., motor vehicle struck telephone pole, minor injuries.
12:42 a.m. Police respond to route 9w Cadet Motel for a report of debit card being used without owner’s permission.

9:18 a.m. Police take report of larceny from an unlocked vehicle on Firth Street of $300.

2:55 p.m. Police respond to several 911 calls regarding a female with torn clothes crying on route 32, Cornwall. Officers located men in red Ford truck who had left the woman.
4:17 p.m. Police respond to motor vehicle accident on Mountain Rd. and 9W to assist other officers responding.

7:00 p.m. Police take a report of larceny from a vehicle on Maple Avenue, Cornwall. Ipod stolen.
9:20 p.m. Police take a report of larceny from a vehicle on Isro Drive, Cornwall.
9:40 p.m. Police respond to report of kids trying to break into the St. John’s Church on Clinton Street and throwing glass bottles. Juveniles stated to Police that they were playing “man hunt” and had not broken any bottles or attempted entry into any building.

11:21 a.m. Police take a report of larceny from a vehicle on Maple Street, Cornwall. GPS reported stolen.
12:10 p.m. Police take report of criminal mischief of a go cart being overturned.
12:45 p.m. Police take report of a wallet stolen from an employee of a business on Main Street who believes a customer took it.

9:3 a.m. Covac and Cornwall Fire Dept. respond to bicycle and motor vehicle accident at Chadeayne Circle.
2:10 p.m. Police take report of larceny from a residence, no street address available, caller stated a ring was missing from her residence.
2:45 p.m. Police take report of larceny from a vehicle, locked car was broken into on Old Mineral Springs Road.
