111:56 a.m. Police respond to Duncan Ave. for a report of a suspicious person going door to door asking for money for muscular dystrophy. Solicitor was strongly advised that he needs a permit for soliciting.

6:35 p.m. Police take a report from a resident stating their neighbor’s window is open. Police checked and stated window screen may have been pushed by pets. Owner was advised by neighbor and was pleased with officer’s actions.

11:52 p.m. Police take report of larceny from vehicle on Cornwall Ave. that occurred on August 21, 2012.
7:50 p.m. Police respond to Cornwall on Hudson Elementary School for report of disorderly juveniles possibly setting fires. Officers located several subjects behind school on skateboards climbing onto construction equipment. Subjects advised to move along.

9:41 p.m. Police respond to open burning on Shore rd. Subject is advised of the ban of open burning until October 13th, 2012. Fire extinguished.

11:07 a.m. Police take report of larceny from vehicle on Lafayette St.
