Lets try to clear the air one more time. Nowhere on my banner did it state that Mrs. Gosda hates the village, loves high taxes, or hates village employees. It also didnt support Trustee Kane in any way nor did Trustee Kane have any involvement in the banner as Andrew Argenio suggested at a village board metting. I still have the banner if anyone wants to take a look at it.

Mrs. Gosda's letter reads that the banner "suggested" that she hates the Village, etc., not "stated" that she did so -
The banner actually read "Vote for Gosda/Smith if you: Hate Your Village, Want Higher Taxes. Hate Village Employees" (I believe I am correct on this) ...
So the banner did not actually attack Gosda/Smith personally, it attacked any Village resident who acted on their right to vote for Gosda/Smith -
The banner was displayed by a Village Employee, who is not a resident of the Village, during working hours ... Classy.

Milissa. Yes I am a village employee. I am proud to be a village employee dispite the fact that Mrs Gosda dragged her feet on working out a contract for us. A contract that we STILL don't have. Her action or lack there of made us feel unwanted, unappreciated, stepped on, and not respected. It doesn't matter that I'm not a village resident. I have the right to voice my opinion esspecially since certain trustees have an effect on my job. I will continue to express my opinion until I'm satisfied with the board of trustees.

Is this the same truck that went around the village last year stealing campaign signs from private residents ?

On March 20th 2012 I decided to take the high road and not post any negative comments on this site anymore. That decision changed when at least three people complained about me expressing my FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS. Why is it ok for you to voice your opinion in public but I cant? I had the village police and state police called on me just because I said the words "Open the highway garage". Classy.

On 4the different occasions you screamed at Trustee Gosda while she was simply walking on the street. Mrs Gosda went to the state police and they spoke to you. People are being yelled at and my wife has received an intimidating letter from the "clubhouse gang" as have other residents

Maybe the police were called because of the manner in which expressed your first amendment rights. Remember, the first amendment does not allow you to yell "fire" in a crowded movie theater.

Barbara is a member of this community and she serves this comminunity with pride! When you yell at her you yell at everyone! When you intimidate you intimidate all of us! I surely hope that this matter is taken care of expeditiously as I do not feel comfortable with my family living here.

It is great how people can voice thier own opinion on something that they have no clue about. How people can state the chain of events about something they were not even in the same state for is amazing. I'm happy that I decided to keep my banner for next year.

Mr. Horne's sign reads like he consulted some kind of political website where they provide rhetorical advice on how to say things that are borderline slanderous, sexist, or racist, but not quite over that line so you can't technically get called out on it.
I love it how people post sentiments like this and then act all shocked or outraged when other people find it distasteful or offensive.
Oh, did I mention that you should agree with what Mr. Horne says about Ms. Gosda's service to the village if you hate puppies, want higher gas prices, and hate people who bake birthday cakes?
See how that works?

Mr. Horne,
I find it interesting that you are so ready to judge others when you do not research all the facts. Mrs. Gosda has worked hard for almost 2 years trying to work out a contract for the village employees. It was first Mr. Vatter and now Mr. Kane who have drug their feet. they were the ones reluctant to go to the table and negotiate with your union. As far as your banner is concerned...it was a waste of your money and there is no need to keep it since I will not be running again. We have also not complained about your expressing your first amendment rights. You are entitled to your opinion but yelling at people while you drive by on the street...repeated...is not erally expressing your opinion. You never spoke up at a village meeting to express your opinion which is the proper place so all board members would be aware of your concerns. there is a proper way to communicate and you should think about this as you run for the library board.

I'm happy to hear that I recruited Mr Warren to the "Good Ole Boys" party. I'm sorry to hear that he hates puppies; since they are so cute, wants higher gas prices; cause he is so financially stable, and hates bakers; cause they work well under pressure. I'm not shocked at all about your reaction to my banner, I actually welcome it.

Mr. Horne, you've mistaken my sentiment. Your banner doesn't offend me, I just think it's kind of pathetic

I don't care what you think of my banner. All that matters is that it did exactly what I intended it to do. It was a smashing success. I'm amazed on how something that is "pathetic" and "despicable" can still have such an effect on the losing team. The winners forgot all about it by March 21st.

The reason why the Gross regime never got anything done and why they drove the village to the ground is because they and thier supporters refused to move on. Just like what Mr warren is doing now. Still talking about a pathetic banner. It is over and done with. We can talk about it til we are blue in the face but what good will it do? How about we all come together and get some possitive things done in the village. No one will think any less of you if you decided to join the 95% of the residents that want to do the village some good. How about contacting me in person if you have a comment for me. Let's sit down with a drink or something instead of going back and forth on here. This is an invitation to everyone.
