To the Editor:
For almost a year of dedicated service as our Mayor, Brendan Coyne, has worked hard to correct the many deficiencies of the Gross-Gosda years. He deserves our support to provide him with a team that develops reasonable and sound solutions to efficiently operate our Village and takes action to achieve them.
During the Gross-Gosda years terrible decisions were made, resulting in the removal of an outstanding village attorney, removal of a highly qualified and experienced treasurer (appointing one with little knowledge of municipal finance law) and firing our auditing firm with many years of experience, resulting in a lack of audits for three years. These unfortunate actions were directly responsible for many of the problems cited in the recent NY State Comptroller's report.
I ask you to see through the smoke and fabrications along with the despicable letters appearing with sickening frequency in the media. Give Mayor Coyne the support he needs and elect Jim Kane and Peter Russell as Trustees. Please do not allow a return to the Gross- Gosda era of discord, meaningless diatribe and inaction. You know one vote can make a big difference on March 20th (12:00 - 9 pm). Thank you.

To give credit where credit is due, Mr. Moulton, it was on your watch that the entire DPW fiasco was launched. That fiasco is going to have some very long-lasting repercussions for the taxpayers of this village.
