General News: Nature Programs During Winter Holiday Break

Children in K-3rd grades can join the staff of the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum staff for some winter time fun each day from Tuesday, December 27 through Friday, December 30 from 9:30am – 11:30am at the Nature Museum’s Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson.
Children will learn about wildlife, enjoy animal presentations, stories, crafts, activities and weather permitting, a hike! Each day will focus on one of the live animals that make their home at the Wildlife Center. Campers can choose one or all days to participate. Pre-paid registration is required due to very limited space. Admission: $20 per day. Museum Members: $15 per day. For information and pre-paid registration call 845-534-5506, ext. 204. The Wildlife Education Center will also be open every afternoon from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. from Tuesday, December 27 through Saturday, December 31 with “Meet the Animals” at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day.
