The Greater Cornwall Chamber of Commerce has elected a new president and vice-president to head up its board of directors for 2012.
Richard Massimi, the owner of Vails Gate Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service, accepted the nomination to serve as president, along with Dr. Thomas Stein, a well-known dentist with a practice on Main Street in Cornwall, who will be the vice president. Mary Clark, of Clark and Associates, was elected to serve as the group’s secretary. Other local chamber members who will serve on the board are Gary Smith, CPA, Angela Calabro, of Giftworks, Wynn Gold, of Auric Packaging and Dan Mahoney, of Safe and Sound.
Massimi takes over the Chamber leadership from Helen Bunt, who is stepping down from her position as president after a year that included launching the First Annual Not Just Business Expo, held at the New York Military Academy earlier this month.
