This is the 2nd letter I have read about the DPW building and the fact that what had been agreed to initially is not being adhered to. I appreciate your and Mr Argenio's feedback and am very concerned. Is showing up to meetings what needs to be done to ensure this does not go down without proper procedures?

First. This whole D.P.W building mess could've been handled better and hundreds of thousands of dollars could've been saved if Gosda and Gross didn't illegally change a vote from a 3-2 loss to a 3-2 win in their favor. Gosda wants to cry when she doesn't get her way and then try to blame it on Mayor Coyne, Deputy Mayor Edsall, and Trustee Kane. Second. Gosda wants to complain about the cost of repairs when she is costing the village more and more money by using all these stalling tactics. Gross got voted out of office by doing the same thing. It would of been cheaper to fix the building in the first place. Now its getting so expensive that NO solution will be saving the taxpayers any money. You can thank Gross and Gosda for that too. Third. Gosda, you should respect Mr. Edsall's position by addressing him as Deputy Mayor Edsall not Trustee Edsall. You wanted to be respected as that when you held that title so do the same in return. It's not his fault that you were dropped like a bad habit.

You James are the person who was arrested for stealing my campaign signs and you talk of respect for others. You show how much of a political instrument the DPW department has become. No stamped plans and a promise to get them later. Where have I heard this before?

Barbara Gosda was not on the Board the year the DPW building was planned, or constructed - Again - Not only are there no stamped plans from 2005, there is no indication in any of the paper work of a design engineer for the foundation - The two resolutions passed in 2005 for the sale of the building and the "lease" of the Shore Road facility state that the footing specifications will be determined by Robert Gilmore with the assistance of the LDC - None of them is an engineer. The 2005 Board ignored the May 2005 Village Engineer recommendations to redesign the foundation stating that it was not proper for the building constructed at that site. Gosda and Gross were trying to protect the tax payers when it was discovered that there were no stamped plans, no C of O, and no proper design for the foundation

The current Weibolt "fixes" to the building address not only the foundation, but also the building - And the NYS DOS denied ALL variances for the building - What does that mean? Not only is the building not to code, but also the DOS feels that none of the variances were safely acceptable - Home Rule does NOT mean that we can ignore state law, it means that we can modify laws to be more stringent if we want - Gosda is trying once again to protect the Village residents, and once again she is being openly slammed for actually doing her job and not being willing to participate in corruption, or sweep it under the carpet. Kudos to Barbara

All of the above comments except for Mr. Horne's are fine examples of how you people only post comments or have articles printed in the Local that are have truths. Yes, Mr Horne was arrested for stealing signs but what was NOT mentioned was that the charges were DISMISSED. You argue about respect? How about you respect the JUDGE'S decision of dismissing all charges.

You refused to post that the trustees have to vote on plans BEFORE they are stamped. I don't know of an engineer that will have plans stamped before they are voted on. You also failed to post that you want the village engineer to aprove plans when he is a CIVIL engineer not a STRUCTURAL engineer. So you want to make the village taxpayers pay for TWO engineers? It's sad that a village trustee has to have a resident post comments for them and have said resident go to village meetings and read/voice views on said trustee's behalf. Said trustee should voice his TRUE opinion at the meetings so the taxpayers know his REAL agenda, the agenda of raping their hard earned money out of their pockets.

So very sad I lost all respect for this village. And for the very ones that have no respect for the election process. And its quite upsetting that my taxes help pay for all of this. Sickening!

Here is the truth to correct James Horne's (DPW employee and town of Cornwall resident)statements. The charges were adjourned, If he is good for months they may be dismissed. False trustees get stamped plans and then approve them. The village engineer includes structural and civil. I am obviously perfectly capable and willing to post and voice my own views My ajenda is to put the village residents first I dont Rape peoples money out of there pockets. As a matter of fact I have served the village for 4years with no pay. I paid over $13000 in taxes for my house last year. It is unfortunate that this slander is allowed on a "news" site.

Mr. Horne - Do you understand that a structural engineer is a TYPE of civil engineer? All civil engineers have training as structural engineers, however, those designated as "structural" engineers are specialists in that particular type of civil engineering - Just like a pediatrician is a specific kind of doctor - All doctors have to go to medical school - Would you say that a general practitioner was unable to prescribe an antibiotic for a child with Strep throat because they were not specifically a pediatrician?
We have already retained the services of the Village Engineer - how is it going to cost more money to have that engineer review the Weibolt plans?

I would also like to add - The 2005 meeting minutes are still on the Village website, and the Argenio Youtube videos are online for people to look at - PLEASE, I encourage everyone to fact check the statements that I make - I stand by what I say because I research things before I form opinions about them - My hope is for other residents to take the time to become informed also. I stand by Barbara and Andrew because I spent a LOT of my own time researching things, particularly the DPW issue, and they are the people that I have found to be honest. I will continue to openly support them, AND to provide traceable information when I comment to others.

It's funny how I post comments and don't mention names and a certain resident and trustee get all defensive. Sounds like someone is feeling guilty about some things. I voiced my opinion about the D.P.W garage and people want to air other peoples dirty laundry just to get the attention off themselves.

Mr. Horn - I have emails to my personal email account from you making the exact accusations that you just made above - I am being a mouth piece for others - Also, I welcome every chance I can get to reach out to the community and ask people to go looking for verifiable information regarding this topic on their own. So I welcome the accusation, it gives me an opportunity to tell people - The information is RIGHT there online, go look for yourselves. I did, and that is how I formed the opinions that I have

Again. I have not mentioned your name in any of the above comments. This discussion started with Mrs Gosdas letter, not about any personal emails. You are not the only resident in Cornwall so get over yourself. Also to answer one of your questions. No, I will NOT go to just any doctor to treat my child just because they went to medical school. Will you call a plumber to put on your new roof just because they know to work ok houses?
