A representative from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) got a tour Thursday of damage in the village of Cornwall-on-Hudson caused by Tropical Storm Irene.
Dave Halvorsen, the head of the Department of Public Works, said that the federal agency will assess the damage then decide whether to respond to a request for FEMA money for repairs.
Here, the two are looking at a five-foot section of a drain culvert on Boulevard that collapsed in the flood waters.
