General News: Election Results in Town of Cornwall

Cornwall voters choose some new blood Tuesday, by electing Elizabeth Longinott over Kerry McGuinness for Town Board.
An unofficial count showed 3380 people turned out to vote in Tuesday’s election. Longinott was the unofficial leader with 1274 votes, followed by Randy Clark who won re-election with 1136 votes and Kerry McGuiness in third with 970 votes.
Both incumbent town justices also won reelection Tuesday. Justice Francis Navarra led with1495 votes followed by Justice Joeseph Thompson with 1256. Challenger Lynn Beesecker took 843 votes.
Kevin Quigley was re-elected as Town Supervisor, Elaine Tilford Schneer was re-elected as Town Clerk and Maryann Rose Odell was elected to her first term as Receiver of Taxes. The three ran unopposed.
