Joseph (Kerry) Mcginness should be your choice because:
Councilman Mcguinness's main concerns are health and safety, ever mindful of his fiscal responsibiity to the taxpayers.
Shown by:
He does not charge the taxpayers almost $20,000. a year for his family health benefits.
Declined the 3% raise for the past few years.
After listening to taxpayer's concerns voted to rescind the resolution to lay off two full-time officiers and replace them with part-timers.
As committee person to the Highway Department has been instrumental in making our Highway Department one of the best in Orange County. Witnessed by their fast clean up of the past two winters with blizzard conditions and their response to Hurricane Irene and Lee.
As committee person to COVAC has assisted in making our ambulance also one of the best in Orange County.
He has served as volunteer firemen for 43 years with Canterbury Fire District, currently president.
He assisted in putting fears of NYMA's future to rest.
He continues to use his knowledge and professional experience in engineering and bidding process to complete the road and drainage improvement program established in Cornwall. i.e. Rosehill Park Drainage, Hazen Street Drainage, Clinton and Torry Street sidewalks and repavement. along with other projects.
