Are you thinking of earning another degree? Mount Saint Mary College’s Office of Continuing Education is holding an information session on November 9 from 5 to 7 pm at its office at 361 Powell Avenue, Newburgh.
The Mount's accelerated degree program provides students 24 and over with the flexibility of evening/weekend schedules and military members have special programs. The West Point and Stewart Air National Guard programs are open to active duty military, reservists, dependents and Department of Defense civilians. Classes are held on the installations at a reduced rate in line with military tuition assistance, permitting military students to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, history and psychology.
For civilian adults, accelerated degree courses are offered at Mount Saint Mary College in accounting, business management and administration, history, human services, interdisciplinary (BA in childhood education), nursing (including RN to BSN) and psychology.
Master’s degree programss include MBA, MS in education, and MS in nursing.
Mount Saint Mary College is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, plus specialized accrediting commissions such as the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
The hybrid online business and nursing programs blend the best of traditional classroom instruction with the convenience of online learning.
To facilitate the transfer of credits, Mount Saint Mary College has special agreements with area community colleges. Due to the rigorous nature of the nursing program at the Mount, nursing courses from other institutions are not transferrable.
