General News: Harvest Race is Seeking Sponsors

The Cornwall Lions Club is hosting its 4th Annual “Fall Harvest Race” this year, which includes a 5K Walk/Run and a 7.5 Mile Scenic Challenge Run to be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. in the beautiful Village of Cornwall.
We are seeking sponsors to donate to this charitable cause. This year, all monies raised will be donated to Guiding Eyes for the Blind. We anticipate over having over 400 runners and walkers now that this race is participating in the Hudson Valley Grand Prix (a series of race events that local runners compete in). WRWD radio will be there live to broadcast the race. It is a great opportunity for you to advertise your business and be part of a great community event.
Sponsorships range from $100 to $250. Donations of products, services and/or gift certificates are all welcome. Please make your check payable to the “Cornwall Lions Club” and mail to: Fall Harvest Race, c/o Walentin, 16 Quaker Avenue, Cornwall, NY 12518 or call 845-591-4558 for pick up of your donation.
Please Note: Deadline for all sponsors to ensure placement on shirts and sponsor board is October 31, 2011.
