To the Editor:
I came to know Chris Bello many years ago, when I rented an apartment, on Overlook Place, from my landlord and good friend, Ernie Bello.
When Chris was born, I was asked to be her Godfather at her baptism. I wa honored to be asked--and, of course, accepted. I moved to Cornwall, and a new job and Ernie, also, got a new job and moved out of the city. Because of that, and Ernie's death at an early age, we lost touch for years.
When Chris got into politics, I read every line written about her--and was very pleased with the excellent job she was, and is, doing for the City of Newburgh! She has great ideas for the city, and the ability to put them into action and make them work for the Newburgh taxpayers. I don't know of anyone more dedicated, more qualified and more deserving to be the next mayor of Newburgh!
So, please, take my advice and vote for the, absolutely, best candidate---CHRIS BELLO!!
