Arrests
Wednesday
Police charged Jorge Quiroz-Nicasio, 42 of Poughkeepsie, with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding in a posted zone.
Thursday
Police charged Martha Veras, 46 of Monroe, with operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver, operation of a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operation of a motor vehicle without inspection and operation of a motor vehicle without insurance.
Friday
Police charged Christian Chavez, 25 of Newburgh, with reckless endangerment, unlawfully fleeing the police, second degree harassment, reckless driving, speeding in a posted zone, and operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver and following a motor vehicle too closely.
Sunday
Police charged Fredrick Smith, 43 of Washingtonville, with third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle without inspection and failure to keep right.
Police charged Santoshia Johnson, 36 of Newburgh, with third degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and travelling at an unreasonable speed.
