Join a hike of the Storm King portion of the Stillman Trail on Saturday.
Join a hike of the Storm King portion of the Stillman Trail on Saturday.

On Saturday, October 1, at 9 am the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum and the Orange County Citizens Foundation invite adults and older children to hike the Storm King portion of the Stillman Trail with Nature Museum member Sally Wortmann. This moderate two to three hour hike includes both easy and steep parts so a hiking stick is recommended. The vistas are spectacular including west to the Shawangunk Mountains and north to the Hudson River. Meet at 9 am in the parking area at the Nature Museum’s Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson. There will be a carpool to the trailhead as parking is limited. Wear appropriate foot gear, bring water and a snack.

Heavy rain will cancel the hike, listen to the recording at 845-534-5506.

Cost: $5. Pre-registration is required. Museum and Citizens Foundation are free. Members are free. For registration and information call 845-534-5506, ext. 204. Visit the museum’s website at www.hhnaturemuseum.org
