General News: Career Counseling at the Library

The Cornwall Public Library is participating in the New York State-sponsored RCLS program entitled “Help for You Job Consultations.” The program offers those who register a 45-minute one-on-one appointment with a Career Development Counselor to talk about resume writing, searching for a job, the interviewing process and other career concerns.
12 sessions are available over a 3-day period in September and October as follows:
4 sessions on Thursday, September 8th between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
4 sessions on Monday, October 24th between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m.
4 sessions on Tuesday, October 25th between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m.
Anyone wishing to take advantage of this service must pre-register at the library, either by stopping in or by calling 534-8282. Appointments will be made on a first come, first serve basis. If you have a resume, please bring a copy with you.
This program has been partially funded by the Ramapo Catskill Library System (RCLS) Coordinated 2011 Outreach Grant from the New York State Education Department, Division of Library Development. Cornwall Public Library is a member of RCLS.
