General News: Storm Disaster Materials Pick Up

The town of Cornwall has announced procedures for pick-up of large storm-related items for disposal:
The County of Orange is waiving tipping fees for municipalities on September 6-9 at all three transfer stations for Storm Disaster Materials.
The following items need to be placed at curb side in three separate piles: (1) Wood - all types of wood, to include limbs, wooden debris, wooden furniture, cabinets; (2) Debris - carpets, household goods, general debris,NO HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE OR HAZMAT. (3) Metal Waste - All metal from storm related damage.
PLEASE BE AWARE - THIS IS NOT FOR HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE. HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE SHOULD BE KEPT SEPARATE FROM THE AFOREMENTIONED ITEMS AND WILL BE PICKED UP ON THE NORMAL SCHEDULE.
NO RETURN TRIPS.
