The traditional Cornwall-on-Hudson summer playground is scheduled for July 5 thru August 12 from 9 am to 1 pm at the Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary School. We are welcoming back Scott Valens as our director and many of the counselors the children know and have enjoyed over past summers.
This year we are particularly fortunate to have some donations to our program by local businesses, Trustee Argenio and myself. This will enable us to offer three day trips to Black Rock Forest, Purple Heart Museum and the Bear Mountain Zoo. West Point Tours has offered us special consideration in transporting the children. We will also have a musical program by Lydia Adams Davis and environmental educators from the NYSDEC
Just a reminder to all parent regarding registration, which will be on June 28 and 29 from 5 to 7 pm at Village Hall. It’s important that we have accurate registration, so please sign up. The registration fee is $110 for village children for the six weeks and $225 for town children.
We look forward to hosting a great program that the children will enjoy and the community can be proud of. Thank you and see you at summer playground.
