General News: Nature Camp Scholarship Offered

The Cornwall Garden Club is providing a full scholarship to attend summer nature camp at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum. The scholarship is offered to a camper, age 12-15, interested in the Eco-Rangers Program. The camp runs from Aug. 15 -19.
The camp starts with three days of wilderness adventures including two day-long expeditions. The camp ends with an overnight at the Outdoor Discovery Center.
Interested campers can pick up an application and instructions at the Cornwall Middle School counseling office. Applicants will be asked to write a brief essay describing why they would like to attend the camp. The application form, essay and letter of recommendation from a teacher must be returned, postmarked by May 1, to the Cornwall Garden Club Scholarship Committee.
