April 10, 2011
From the RiverFest Organizing Committee
The Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson will host its 14th annual RiverFest, Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 11 am to 6 pm. RiverFest 2011 will be held in Donahue Park, on the shore of the majestic Hudson River, and will feature a full day of music and entertainment, children’s activities, and a large craft and food fair.
Transportation will again be provided down to the Park as vehicular access will be restricted to RiverFest parking pass holders only. Buses will start at Cornwall Central Middle school on Main Street and make a continuous loop around Hudson and Main Streets and Chadeayne Circle. Skateboarding will be prohibited at RiverFest and skateboards will not be allowed on the RiverFest shuttle buses this year.
Once again, the day’s events will include vendors, food stands, non-profit groups and contributors. A full list of all participants and more information can be found on www.river-fest.com.
Another full day of entertainment is planned. The bands that are scheduled to perform include Nicole Hart and the NRG Band, the Sommerville Brothers Band, Studebacker Brown Band, and Third Degree Band. There will also be plenty of activities for children.
As always, there is no charge to the public for RiverFest. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and join us at beautiful Donahue Park in Cornwall-on Hudson, on June 4th for a great day. Log on to www.river-fest.com for up to date information
