Arrests


Wednesday, March 16
Police charge Francis Caretta, 33, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Thursday, March 17
Police charge Christopher Conklin, 25, of New Windsor with unlawful possession of marijuana.


Incidents

Monday, March 14
5:31 pm Police respond to a report of teenagers shoplifting at Cumberland Farms.

7:36 pm police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Avenue A.

9:00 pm Police respond to a report of disorderly adults on River Avenue.


Tuesday, March 15
1:41 pm Police issue a ticket for talking on a cell phone and for speeding in a school zone to a driver on Hudson Street.

4:51-6:15 pm Police issue ticket to four drivers for failing to stop at the stop sign at River Avenue and Shore Road.


Wednesday, March 16
9:36 am Police issue a ticket to a driver on Route 9W.

4:52-6:19 Police issue tickets to four drivers on Hudson Street.


Thursday, March 17
10:08 am Police issue a ticket for speeding on Angola Road.


Friday, March 18
1:18 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for not wearing a seat belt.

6:13-:18 pm Police issue tickets to vehicles parked at the riverfront without a permit.

7:48 pm Police respond to a hit-and-run accident in the municipal parking lot and later issue a ticket for leaving the scene of an accident.

8:22 pm Police respond with COVAC and SKFE for male subject who fell down the stairs and was reported to be unresponsive. Transported to Cornwall hospital.
8:57 pm Police advise four juveniles observed walking along the railroad tracks to leave the area.


Saturday, March 19
Police issue seven traffic summonses between 8 am and 2 pm.

8:03 am Caller complaint of waking up to newspaper spread out all over his front, rear and side lawn of his residence on Idlewild Park Drive with burn marks to the paper.

6:52 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for talking on a phone while driving.

7:39 pm Police issue a ticket for an expired inspection.


Sunday, March 20
9:24 am Police issue a ticket to a driver for failing to stop at a stop sign at River Avenue and Shore Road.
