To the Editor:
The Grail Labyrinth Music Benefit on Saturday, March 12 was a great success. So many people came together to make it so; we had a full house. I would like to thank our local musicians who gave of their incredible talent: John Charles Thomas, Ruthanne Schempf, Emily Faxon, Kayla Noble, Patrick Hoagland, Ryan Kennedy and Doug Cheyne. I received so many compliments on the quality of their performances.
A big thanks goes to our benefit sponsors, Lynn Peebles of Studio 208 and Doug Land of Chesapeake Group, Inc. without whose generous financial support the event would not have been possible. I would also like to thank Lynn Goldman and Emily Thomas for the wide selection of tasty finger foods that they prepared. Appreciation to the following people for a variety of jobs carried out: Sharon Thompson, Simonetta Romano, Kate Benson, Barbara Defina, Nancy Peckenham, Rick Gioia, Ilene Osinski, Lucy Jones, Kathi Hurley, Cindy and Lina Cheyne, Jackie Murray, Maria Miller, and Cynthia Schwartzberg.
Looking forward to April 9 and 10 when we put our funds to their intended use – to build the labrinth! If you would like to help with the construction, or would be interested in being a sponsor, please contact the Grail at 534-2031.
Sincerely,
Barbara Smith Gioia
Coordinator for Grail Labyrinth Project
