Saturday, March 5
Police charge 32-year-old James Horne, of Cornwall, with petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Incidents
Tuesday, March 1
9:17 am Police take a report of a political sign stolen from a residence on Hudson Street.
Wednesday, March 2
7:26 pm Police divert traffic from an arcing wire on Academy Avenue.
9:08 pm Police respond to a report of a resident who returned home to find a door that had been sealed shut now open. Resident reported an open window and door the previous day at the River Avenue residence.
Friday, March 4
9:20 am Police respond to a report of a bag on trash on fire on Shore Road and find a neighbor had extinguished it.
2:08 pm Police respond to a report of unknown subject smashing but not breaking a glass double door at a residence on Hudson Street. No trespassing sign was inside the fenced property and owner advised to place the sign outside the building as well.
11:01 pm Police respond to a report of stolen political signs in the yard of a residence on River Avenue.
