Arrests


Tuesday, March 1
Police charge 43-year-old Eric Schweizer of Cornwall with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence, speeding, failing to keep right and failing to use a turn signal on Hudson Street.

Police charge Oscar Ramos, 33, of Newburgh, with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.


Wednesday, March 2
Police charge Robert M. Kelleher, 39, of Montgomery, with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.

Police charge Lisa Andriuolo, 19, of New Windsor, with passing a red traffic light and criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree.


Saturday, March 5
Police charge an identified 21-year-old male from Cornwall with criminal mischief in the third degree after he allegedly broke a window during a domestic dispute with his mother.


Sunday, March 6
Police charge 22-year-old Michael Ellick, of New Windsor, with vehicular assault in the second degree/criminal negligence, unlawful possession of marijuana and ability impaired by drugs.

7:58 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 94.

9:21 am Police investigated a reported fraudulent use of a credit card.

1:34 pm Police respond to a minor fire in a resident’s kitchen toaster.

3:47 pm Police respond to a two vehicle motor vehicle accident on Main Street.

5:25 pm Police investigate a reported harassment/domestic dispute.

5:46 pm Police advice a juvenile involved in a verbal dispute on Quaker Avenue.

7:45 pm Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Hudson Street.

11:51 pm Police respond to a domestic dispute in which an intoxicated 17-year-old female attacked her mother.


Wednesday, March 2
11:33 pm Police respond to the high school to investigate a report of an unwanted former student trespassing on school property.

3:08-:17pm Police issue two traffic tickets.

5:44 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Orr Hatch Road.


Thursday, March 3
Police issue six traffic tickets during the day.

11:50 am Police respond to a domestic dispute.

1:18 pm Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Route 94.

3:38 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32.


Friday, March 4
Police issue four traffic tickets.

5:55 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Orrs Mills Road.

11:31 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident with property damage on Cedar Lane.

7:20 am Police take a report of criminal mischief at Willow Avenue school where unknown individuals drew a picture of a penis and the words “have a nice day at school” on the front steps of the school.


Saturday, March 5
Police issue five traffic tickets during the day.

12:54 am Police respond for request for assistance in town of Newburgh with a large fight in progress at the fire house on North Plank Road involving about 80 people.

1:10 pm Police respond to a domestic dispute involving a man and his ex-girlfriend.

8:06 pm Police respond to a report of an intoxicated juvenile at Dunkin Donuts and transport juveniles home.


Sunday, March 6
10:53 am Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Angola Road and Mine Hill Road.

2:00 pm Police respond to a call from an intoxicated subject requesting help to get rehab and COVAC transports subject to Cornwall hospital.
