To the Editor:
The village voters have before them a choice.
Will they choose a mayor who leads with arrogance, or one who leads with dignity? Will they choose a mayor, who, when he was not in agreement with the majority of the Village Board, plunges the village into a lawsuit, which has the potential for costing the residents a huge amount of money? Will they choose a mayor, who, when trustees voted with him, was happy, but when trustees voted in disagreement with him, he has paralyzed the village?
Or, will the Village residents choose a mayor, who, when he was not in agreement with the majority of the school board, asked that his name not be included on the dedication plaque at the high school? What an amazing example of a dignified decision! Will the Village residents elect a mayor who respects others’ opinions and who has shown by his actions how to lead with dignity?
Or, will they re-elect a mayor who goes after people who “dare” to express an opinion, one who has managed to adversely impact people’s lives (ex: the building inspector issue), and one who’s arrogance has the ability to quite possibly destroy the village if allowed to continue.
