Red wine can be good for you, right? Well, to celebrate the health benefits of wine and to honor a family member who dedicated her life to attending to the medical needs of others, Palaia Vineyards is hold Nurse Nancy Night on Friday, February 25th.
Jan Palaggi, who fulfilled a long-held dream when she opened the winery in 2006, named an estate-grown 2007 Cabernet Franc in honor of her mother, Nancy, a former nurse. The Hudson Valley Wine Magazine liked the Nurse Nancy label so much that it recently awarded it first place in a label contest, too.
Now Palaia Vineyards is offering all health care workers a special discount on all wine purchases this Friday in honor of Nurse Nancy. Bruce Perone will be on stage, making a great evening out
