General News: Shoe Drive at the Public Library

If you have any unwanted shoes that have wear left in them, please bring them to the collection box in the lobby of the Cornwall Public Library during library hours. The footwear will be donated to the Shoes for the Needy campaign sponsored by Groo’s Shoes.
Organizers of the local shoe collection, high school students Andrew and Eric Stein and their mother, Carol, will collect shoes in good condition and bring them to Groo’s where they will be distributed to many places.
The Steins suggest that you use a rubber band to keep pairs together or tie the laces together. Feel free to forward this message to others who might like to donated shoes too!
The campaign ends March 28th.
