Arrests


Monday, January 3
Police charge 20-year-old Daniel Brancato of Cornwall with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana, expired inspection and an equipment violation.

Police arrest 23-year-old Tina Macri of Bloomingburgh on a bench wrrant.

Police arrest 48-year-old William Schwartz and 52-year-old Jennifer George, both of Central Valley, on bench warrants.


Tuesday, January 4
Police charge 19-year-old Brandon Ciccone of New Windsor with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and with an equipment violation.

Police charge 19-year-old Deanna Monham of Highland Mills with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and with speeding.

Police charge 19-year-old Amber Morel with unlawful possession of marijuana.


Wednesday, January 5
Police charge 51-year-old Willie Brown with driving with a suspended registration.


Thursday, January 6
Police charge an 18-year-old male from New Windsor with criminal trespassing, a class B misdemeanor, after he allegedly was seen on security footage at 3 a.m. in the rear lobby of the police station where a dry chemical fire (fire extinguisher) was discharged. The man was contacted and turned himself in at headquarters.

Police charge 25-year-old Jessica Cumba-Alongi of Cornwall with driving a vehicle with a suspended registration.

Police charge 48-year-old Alvar Astigarraga of New Windsor with driving a vehicle with a suspended registration.


Friday, January 7
Police charge 44-year-old Thomas Santoro of New Windsor with harassment in the second degree and criminal mischief in the third degree after he allegedly got into a verbal argument with the proprietor of the iStore and allegedly damaged a chair valued at $420.


Saturday, January 8
Police charge a 17-year-ld female from Cornwall with unlawful possession of marijuana after stopping her in a traffic stop.

Monday, January 3
9:02 am Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Beakes Road.

12:26-:52 pm Police issue to traffic tickets.

3:00 pm Police issue a ticket for speeding on Forge Hill Road.

10:33 pm Police issue a traffic ticket to a driver on Route 32.


Tuesday, January 4
5:30 am to 8:30 pm Police issue a ticket to nine drivers.


Wednesday, January 5
3:35 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver on Route 94.


Thursday, January 6
3:08 am Police assist a homeowner with an unwanted guest.

8:11 am Police charge a juvenile with assault and reckless endangerment after a student allegedly attacked a teacher at Cornwall Central High School.

12:00 pm Police take a report of an Ipod, xbox 360 game and $22 was taken from a locker at the high school.

3:15 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver at Cornwall Plaza.

11:17 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.


Friday, January 7
12:34 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.

1:04 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle on Route 94.

5:32 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Orrs Mills Road.

7:40 pm Police respond to a snowball fight at Cornwall Plaza.


Saturday, January 8
11:20 am Police respond to a vehicle off the road on Route 9W.

4:46 pm Police transport a female patient to Arden Hill hospital for mental health evaluation.

5:01 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.

7:53 pm Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.


Sunday, January 9
2:43 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver on Route 32.
