During the blizzard a couple of weeks ago we had to go to JFK airport, then to New York City and came home via New Jersey. The roads were horrible, there were accidents all over and people had a hard time walking on unshovelled sidewalks and unplowed streets. Even at JFK the ramp leading up to the departures hadn't been plowed and people were walking in the snow with their luggage enduring 60 mph winds.
On the other hand, we up here in Cornwall, were able to get out and about without any trouble and for the most part were not impacted by the storm.
A heartfelt thank you to Bob Conley and the Highway Department for their commitment to service, for always doing an excellent job and for always being there for the people of Cornwall!

I agree completely with you Eileen. Both the Town and Village crews did themselves proud.

I had the same thoughts after seeing NYC plowing on TV. I want the village and town workers to know we appreciate what you do! I heard the plows going all night last night and saw my recycled plastics picked up this morning. You are great! Thanks! -Jackie Skrzynski

After the past few snow storms, I am so proud to live in this community. Thank you to all those people who worked so hard to clean up after the snowstorms. You did an amazing job in Cornwall!
