Friday, December 31
Police charge a 17-year-old from Cornwall male with unlawful possession of marijuana and with unlawful possession of an alcoholic beverage with intent to consume it.
Police arrest 42-year-old Raymond Wygant of Wallkill on a bench warrant.

Monday, December 27
12:30 pm Police respond to a complaint of a snowplow company that had piled the neighbors snow on his property. Company is contacted and offers to shovel the snow off the neighbor’s property.
9:50 pm Police respond to a report of a vehicle on the guardrail in a snow bank on Shore Road and assist motorist and traffic control.
Tuesday, December 28
8:40 am Police assist a tractor trailer at the closed Route 218 gate to turn around.
Wednesday, December 29
9:16 pm Police respond to a hit-and-run accident in the parking lot of Painters.
Thursday, December 30
9:47 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for talking on the phone while driving.
Friday, December 31
4:52 pm Police issue a ticket to the driver of a vehicle with an expired inspection.
8:51 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver of a vehicle with tinted windows.
10:19 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for talking on the phone while driving.
10:28 pm Police issue a ticket to a driver for failing to stop at a stop sign on Homeland and Academy Avenues.
Saturday, January 1
1:52 am police take a report of a male who said he was assaulted.
2:49 am Police respond to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident in the municipal parking lot.
