To the Editor:
Hi! My name is Elizabeth Klosky. I am a Cadette Girl Scout in Troop 23. I am helping organize the volunteer Girl Scout crew for the New Year's Day clean up for after the ball drop.
I hope people will notice the brightly colored pop-up Flings recycling and trash bins that I will be placing around the village bandstand on New Year's Eve. It would be good if people would put their trash and recycling into the appropriate bin on New Year's Eve at the ball drop so that there will not be quite so much work for our clean-up crew to do the next day.
If you want to help with the clean up effort, come to the bandstand on Saturday, New Year's Day, at 10 a.m. (you still get at least 8 hours of sleep if you stayed up past midnight!). Be sure to dress warmly to match the weather, and wear gloves.
Let's keep Cornwall Dragon Green!
Thank you!
Elizabeth Klosky
